About the Company

Stephen Papaioannou (owner) has been in the catering equipment business since 1995, and has a vast knowledge regarding the needs and requirements of his customers.

Some of his big projects include the likes of Mikes Kitchen, Rhapsody’s, SA Breweries, SPAR’s and the SABC Johannesburg. Stephen has also travelled extensively to countries within Africa, such as the Congo, Angola, Zambia, Malawi and Nigeria.

A.S.A.P Catering Equipment specializes in bakeries, butcheries, supermarkets, restaurants and hotel chains.

The range that we supply to our clients are from cold rooms, fridges, freezers, band saws, bain maries, curved glass fridges, rotisseries, ice cream machines, ovens (single, double and triple deck), proovers, pop corn machines, canopies with extractor fans and vast a range of smaller items.Please refer to our product list.

All the Sales Executives have a good knowledge of the equipment and can answer questions regarding particular items. Quotations can be given over the telephone and always followed up with an email. All the enquiries that are received are handed to the sales executives who in turn respond with quotations for those enquiries.

We run weekly specials in the Junkmail both for Johannesburg and Pretoria and this is always displayed on our home page.

Over and above the equipment we run special packages for mini bakeries, butcheries and take aways.

We are situated in the Johannesburg City Business District (CBD) and easily found from the M1 highway.


Our working hours are as follows:

Monday - Thursday 07h30 - 17h00
Fridays 07h30 - 16h30
Saturdays 08h30 - 12h30
Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

We have an annual shut down that happens from around the 16 December - the first week in January of every year.
